Agilent 6495 Instrument

Weck laboratories has two LCMS and two GCMS triple quadupole mass spectrometers. We are retiring our original LCMS instrument (purchased in April 2005) and replacing it with the latest offering from Agilent Technologies, the 6495 LCMS triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, for use with applications requiring the highest sensitivity and robustness. This system is designed for both routine laboratory analysis and for the most challenging quantitation in environmental and food safety applications.

This high-performance instrument supports quantitative analysis in a range of challenging applications to screen, identify and quantitate multiple pesticide residues, endocrine disruptors and pharmaceuticals in environmental matrices such as water, soil or sediment. Additionally, complex matrices such as foods (produce, tissue and beverages) and pharmaceutical or nutraceutical formulations can be analyzed for contaminants.
