WECK Laboratories, Inc. Receives CDPH Dioxin Certification

California Department of Public Health (CDPH) approves Weck Laboratories for Dioxin
analysis of drinking water samples! Weck Laboratories can now test for
the 2,3,7,8-TetraChloroDibenzoDioxin (2,3,7,8-TCDD) isomer for drinking water
compliance monitoring. The determination is accompplished by EPA test
method 1613B with a reporting limit of 5 picograms per liter (pg/L). CDPH
requires a Detection Limit for the purposes of Reporting (DLR) of 5 pg/L to
insure that the federal Maximum Contaminant Level (MCL) of 30 pg/L is
insured. The laboratory employs two new state-of-the-art Agilent 7000B
Gas Chromatographs with triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers.
