Weck Laboratories has received the ACIL Seal of Excellence & Special Recognition for being in the "Top Five" labs in Proficiency Testing scores for 2008 The Award is presented to laboratories scoring greater than 90% on the combined average of all the PT studies for the previous twelve months and ranked better than 3 on overall customer satisfaction and timeliness as measured by the Seal of Excellence Survey. Weck scored 98.6% relative to the the average of 96.7% for all survey participants.

Each time it has participated, Weck Laboratories, Inc. has received the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) Seal of Excellence program award and has done so again for 2006. This year the lab has also received a special recognition for being one of the Top Ten Laboratories in timeliness. Weck Laboratories has received approval of it’s UCMR2 application! Proficiency Test (PT) samples have arrived at the laboratory. The USEPA has proposed to monitor 26 unregulated contaminants using newly developed analytical methods, as a requirement of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Weck Laboratories has developed those methods and intends to offer them to clients for compliance with the Rule. All six methods listed under both the Assessment Monitoring (List 1) and the Screening Survey (List 2) will be analyzed in-house at Weck Laboratories!
