As part of the NELAP accreditation, Weck Laboratories performs numerous
analyses of proficiency testing (PT) samples, which is double the number that
laboratories holding California ELAP certification are required to perform.
In the last 12 months, over 1,470 PT test parameters have been analyzed.

Weck Laboratories has received the ACIL Seal of Excellence & Special Recognition for being in the "Top Five" labs in Proficiency Testing scores for 2008 The Award is presented to laboratories scoring greater than 90% on the combined average of all the PT studies for the previous twelve months and ranked better than 3 on overall customer satisfaction and timeliness as measured by the Seal of Excellence Survey. Weck scored 98.6% relative to the the average of 96.7% for all survey participants.

Each time it has participated, Weck Laboratories, Inc. has received the American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) Seal of Excellence program award and has done so again for 2006. This year the lab has also received a special recognition for being one of the Top Ten Laboratories in timeliness. Any environmental testing laboratory who wants to be recognized as a participating laboratory must maintain proof of annual ethics training and an early detection system for questionable analytical practices, submit a signed code of ethics and twelve months of Proficiency Testing (PT) scores, and distribute satisfaction surveys to their customers...

Weck Laboratories, Inc. has an impressive Proficiency Test (PT) score of 98.3% overall in the past 18 months. The National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) requires laboratories to analyze a blind PT sample twice per year for each certified category (WS= Water Sup- ply; WP= Water Pollution; HW= Hazardous Waste…) in order to maintain certification status...

Weck Laboratories has received approval of it’s UCMR2 application! Proficiency Test (PT) samples have arrived at the laboratory. The USEPA has proposed to monitor 26 unregulated contaminants using newly developed analytical methods, as a requirement of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). Weck Laboratories has developed those methods and intends to offer them to clients for compliance with the Rule. All six methods listed under both the Assessment Monitoring (List 1) and the Screening Survey (List 2) will be analyzed in-house at Weck Laboratories!
